Parakram Diwas and Veer Surendra Sai Jayanti Observed at DAV, Kalinga Nagar

Bhubaneswar: DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar observed PARAKRAM DIWAS- the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose and Veer Surendra Sai Jayanti in its premises amidst SOP of Covid-19. Principal of the school Sri Bipin Kumar Sahoo, all the supervisors and teachers offered their floral tribute to the great patriots of India’s freedom
struggle. In his address to the gathering, the Principal reiterated the exemplary valor and audacity of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Veer Surendra Sai and their contribution to the freedom movement of India. He further said that the intense love of the two patriots for their motherland and their radical ideologies shall continue to rule the over the
hearts of thousands and millions of people all over the world till eternity. Going in line with the tradition of reaching out to the community on this special occasion, the principal and the teachers visited Pratibha orphanage at Dumuduma and distributed dry food and other necessary provisions among the children and shared some
unforgettable moments with the innocent buds. Among other activities organized to mark the occasion, includes a fancy dress competition held among the tiny tots group. The entire programme was arranged successfully by the school’s English Department with the whole-hearted support of all the staff.
