Bhubaneswar:- In a bid to sensitize the slum dweller for the holistic development of children living in urban poverty a human chain and mass awareness meeting was organised at Sikharachandi Nagar under ward no-1 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on the eve of World Day against Child labour organized by ActionAid Association in collaboration with Center for Child & Women Development (CCWD).Â
      Attending as guest Sadasiv Swain, Secretary of CCWD highlighted the plight situation of children and legal laws and also Every parent should aware about children’s future he added. Among others Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan and Shiba Sahoo shared the ongoing challenges. The welcome address covered by Kalyani Rout. Lastly Swarnapriya Senapati Proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.
      More than 60 community people, members of Self-help group, Slum level human rights defenders, Members of Bhubaneswar Young Urban Women Forum and child club members attended.
