Paradip :- On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 and as part of the Plantation Drive Week observed from June 5 to June 11, 2026, the CIPET Plastic Product Evaluation Centre (PPEC), Paradeep organized a plantation drive within its campus, Paradeep Plastic Park Industrial Area, nearby public places and planted 400 saplings.
              
      The plantation programme was carried out under the guidance of the Centre In-Charge and Training In-Charge, with active participation from students, staff members, and trainees of the centre. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, enhance green cover, and create awareness about the importance of sustainable development.
     Speaking on the occasion, the officials emphasized the need for collective efforts towards environmental protection and encouraged participants to contribute to building a greener and healthier future. The enthusiastic involvement of students and staff reflected their commitment towards preserving the environment.
      The plantation drive is a part of CIPET Plastic Product Evaluation Centre, Paradeep’s ongoing efforts to support environmental sustainability and foster ecological awareness among the community.
