Bhubaneswar : Odisha recorded 602 new Covid-19 positive cases and seven deaths during last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of Covid positive cases went up to 10,23,735 and the total fatalities due to Covid surged to 8170.
Out of the total 602 fresh Covid positive cases , while 353 cases were reported at health centres. From quarantine centres, 249 were local contact cases. The total 602 new covid positive cases included 79 children in the age group of 0 to 18.
Khordha district topped the list in the state recording 266 covid positive cases, the highest number of positive cases in the state during the last 24 hours followed by Cuttack 74, Jagatsinghpur 34 and Mayurbhanja 19.
Khordha district also registered two fatalities the highest in the state. Anugul, Balasore, Bhadrak,Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur reported one death each.
While the state has the total 10, 23,735 positive cases and 5930 active cases 10,09,582 COVID patients have recovered from the virus so far.
