Sad demise of renowned social activist’s mother

Bhubaneswar: Indraprastha colony situated in Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar was saddened with the news of the demise of
renowned social activist and environmentalist, Sushant Sahoo’s mother, Manorama Sahoo aged 64 years. She was a sweet voiced, spiritual and helpful lady. She had been suffering from chronic diabetes and high blood pressure from the last 2 years. She was a native of Khandapadagada Dosandhi community of Nayagarh district. Many dignitaries have expressed their grief and offered condolences to the grieving family on their loss. Her last rite was performed in the cremation ground at Satya Nagar by her only son Sushant Sahoo. Social activist Ranjan Das, Lakshman Rao, Priyabrata Panda, Trilochan Beura, Centurion blood donor Gopimohan Pattnaik, Principal of Dhauli Charukala Art School Chandan Samal, Founder of Mind Empowerment Foundation Manoj Pradhan had been present at his house to offer condolences and prayers for the peaceful departure of the demised soul.
