Paralakhemundi :A traumatic news got viral at Gajapati that flashed deteriorating health services. One pregnant woman named Urmila Sabar of Karjeesahi got pain, immediately by a cot villagers shouldered her to Rayagada CHC by walking hilly terrain muddy road of long 2 kms.
Doctor referred her to Paralakhemundi. But doctor who checked up her noticed that she has not reached time of delivery. So again that woman back to her village.
This rebound a mystery on callousness service though ASHA, anganwadi workers posted at every revenue village & supported by ANM. Moreso ASHA worker has a cream role of transportation of those carrying mothers for which they are posted but neither they took care rather villagers dared to take care of that carrying mother.
To & from of such pregnant woman must have aggrieved pain which medical staff must have noted & they could have arranged to transport either way through ambulance instead of painstaking villagers by cot.
This hovered all jinx among rural people who deprived of medical services & callousness of ASHA still brewing & enquiry against her is imminent what area people jilted.
