Online Registration for BSKY Nabin Card to Start from Jan 6

Bhubaneswar: Eligible families can apply for the BSKY Nabin cards online from January 6 to January 16. They can submit their applications online by visiting registration portal www.bskynabin.odisha.gov.in, said Health department Commissioner-cumSecretary Shalini Pandit in a letter to all district Collectors in Odisha today. The registration portal will open on January 6 and scheduled to close on January 16, Pandit added. The state government had earlier announced to expand the ambit of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Odisha to extend the benefits of the health scheme to all rural families except government employees, government pension holders and income tax payers. The new beneficiaries will be issued BSKY Nabin cards to avail cashless treatment for critical illness at all government and empanelled private hospitals in and outside Odisha, said the Health department. In her letter, the Health Secretary has asked the districtCollectors to create awareness among the rural families about the expansion of the health scheme and BSKY Nabin cards. The Collectors have been asked to create awareness regarding the BSKY Nabin Cards, including the detailed procedures for registrations, through social media and holding field-level events. The Health department has sanctioned funds in this regard to all districts.
