Child Protection Awareness Organized

Paralakhemundi: On behalf of CCD a leading organization sensitization for children to bring them towards mainstream held at various places from 5th to 7th November. Sensitization programs held at Koinpur, Laxmipur, Talamunda & Narayanpur panchayats of Rayagada block, supported by Kailash Satyarthi Foundation. Villagers acknowledged on prohibition of child trafficking & to make child friendly panchayats. Village level child protection committee have a great role to impart to eradicate child marriage & encourage them on regular studies. Various schemes too launched particularly for registered labourers who can afford their children on mainstreaming. Time arrived to discuss on every panchayat meeting regarding update status where member representatives of Child Protection Committee can attend to sensitize PRI members. Guided by AJagannath Raju Secretary of CCD, Bijay Pradhan Coordinator organized the program. Anganwadi & ASHA workers of those villages cooperated successfully on such sensitization program.
