Bhubaneswar : Odisha reported 262 fresh Covid positive cases and two fatalities during the past 24 hours. Health and Family Welfare department sources said out of 262 new cases, while 153 were reported from the quarantine centres
109 were local contact cases.
It included 42 positive cases in the age group of 0 to 18.
Khordha district reported 132 positive cases, the highest in the state followed by Cuttack 21 and Balasore 12.
With 247 new infections, the cumulative covid tally in the state surged to 10,45,471 out of which 10,34, 300 have already been recovered from the virus.
Two more covid deaths, one each from Dhenkanal and Jagatsinghpur district, were recorded in the past 24 hours pushing the total fatalities in the state to 8377.
The state has now 2741 active cases.
