Bhubaneswar : Indigo will commence direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur thrice a week from November 2, according to Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Scindia has communicated the introduction of the direct service between the Odisha and Rajasthan capitals in a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
On September 17, Pradhan urged Scindia to introduce a direct flight between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur to strengthen the economy of both the state and also in the interest of the tourists as both the states have several important tourist destinations and a number of temples.
Scindia said Indigo’s direct flight services will be thrice a week from November 2 for which the Odisha government has extended initial incentives to the airline for commencement on the referred routes.
