Paralakhemundi : While patrolling by Adava IIC Anand Chandra Patra with SI Hrushikesh Panda & staff, by the instructions of SP Gajapati Tapan Kumar Patnaik, near weekly market area of Paniganda village, 3 persons were waiting for a vehicle to transport ganja in 3 bags & 3 suit cases.
They were about towards Andhra Pradesh. Police squad were suspicious on their movement & while seizing those bags about 77.500 kgs of ganja found.
In presence of Tehsildar Sarada Prasanna Panda, ganja weighed. Those persons Ajay Nayak(24) of Barihapada, Alok Paricha(33) of Tala Dakarpanka, Shyama Raika(40) & Rebati Paricha(39), a lady of Bariha village arrested & forwarded to R.Udayagiri court.
