Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday nnounced that people of the State eligible for COVID-19 vaccination will get the coronavirus jab for free.
The State Government has allocated Rs 2,000 crore for executing the free COVID vaccination drive, he said.
The people of Odisha is my family. I want everyone in the State to be safe, to be vaccinated. As per the Centre’s guidelines, the age group of 18 to 44 will also be eligible for vaccination from May 1.
We are prepared for it, and you do not have to pay a penny to get the COVID-19 vaccine, said Naveen in an address to the State .
