Paralakhemundi : Through ITDA support 5 SHG members promoted towards empowerment.
An initiative taken to supply various vegetable seeds to help them earnings.During Covid-19 period,last year too they earned good income through vegetable cultivations.
Besides that fingerlinks supplied to SHG of village Padagaon of Adava panchayat, where the members could motivate towards self reliance.
To Santoshini group consisted of 3 SHGs of Padagaon of Adava supported 200 kgs of fingerlinks with 20 bags of fish food.Last year too they got profit of Rs. 50000 from fish farm.
Similarly at Sikulipadar village 2 SHGs also given another 200 kgs of fingerlinks.Instruction from Lingaraj Panda, Collector Gajapati, who has taken bold initiatives on livelihoods with the direction of PA ITDA, Saroj Kumar Behera & sensitization with monitoring by staff Sanjay Chatoi could step up such livelihood wings, who once engaged on hilly podu cultivation & merged as hand to mouth.Now a stellar role by ITDA helped them to bask towards better earnings.
