Financial package for Mission Shakti workers in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced a financial package for 50,000Community Assistant workers of Mission Shakti.
Community Assistant workers like Master book keeper, Bank Mitra, Krishi Mitra, PraniMitra and Resource Persons—community Mobiliser (CRP-CM) help the Panchayat level federations in their financial inclusion, development livelihood and skill development.
.The package included Rs1,000 dress allowances per annum, identity cards to all , one time assistance of Rs 5,000 for buying a smart mobile phone of their choice .
The Chief Minister also announced to provide Rs 3,000 per month to all CRP-CM towards their wage,Rs 350 per month towards their conveyance allowance and Rs 150 as telephone allowanceof Rs 250 per month.
Mr Patnaik said the government has made arrangements for required funds for immediate implementation of the announcement.The Chief Minister hoped that the package would encourage them to work harder in the formation of a transformed Odisha.
The Mission Shakti movement has brought a major change in the lives of 70 lakh women in Odisha, Mr.Patnaik said .
A record amount of Rs 6000 crore loan was given to the Mission Shakti women members this year and an interest subsidy of Rs 200 crore was deposited in the bank accounts of the women members.
As per the cabinet decision various works like paddy procurement, supply of food to patients. In hospitals, management of Ahar Kendra, and pisciculture was provided to the women members.
The government has also created a special department in the name of Mission Shakti to give pace to the mission Shakti programmes. At present all SHG federations are working on one platform
