Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday distributed 8,000 bicycles to community partners working in urban areas in a programme organised at the convention hall of Lok Seva Bhawan. Swachh workers, Swachh partners, food workers, water partners and supervisors received the bicycles. The programme was organised in collaboration with the State Housing and Urban Development Department and Mission Energy Department. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that their partnership has made Mission Shakti a successful programme. He said that he is going to different areas of Odisha and meeting Missionary Mothers. The Chief Minister said that their confidence and enthusiasm have made Mission Shakti a number one successful programme. The Chief Minister said, “Mission Shakti mothers have taken up many responsibilities in community participation programmes in different cities.
