New Delhi : After 50 crore people in the country received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya hailed the frontline workers and termed it an achievement in the world’s largest vaccination drive.
Mr Mandaviya took to twitter to share the information and hail the COVID warriors.
“Another milestone achieved in the world’s largest vaccination drive under PM@NarendraModi ji. 50 crore people received their first #COVID19 vaccine dose,” he said in a tweet posted on Tuesday evening.
“I applaud the hard work of COVID warriors & diligence of citizens in helping achieve this momentous feat,” The Health Minister added in the tweet.
On Tuesday, India administered 1.33 crore vaccines, the highest in a single day. According to the official data, 65.41 Crore vaccine doses have been administered so far since January 16,2021.
Last month, India administered 18.3 crore doses, which was the highest in a month.
