Paralakhemundi : 2 minor boys aged 4 & 6 years were wandering at Coimbatore of Tamil Nadu, are rescued by Gajapati district administration.
Sudarsan Nayak of Bhalia sahi of Mohana block of Gajapati district is staying at Coimbatore. He had regular rift with his wife since last one month. He has 2 sons. That scuffle stemmed to terrorize Sudarsan & killed his wife.Later on he too had injured a local youth.Ultimately he surrendered at nearest Police station.
All incidents reached at Sudarsan’s father Karana Nayak tried to reach Coimbatore but local people threatened him to kill.
Meanwhile to give safetyness of those 2 kids Karana got support from Gajapati district child protection unit. Gajapati unit kept contact with respective Coimbatore unit, who rescued those children.
Further for rehabilitation Collector & SP Gajapati taken all initiatives.
On 21st February,2021 Jayaprakash Badtya, Legal supported Officer, with 4 members team left for Coimbatore.
Police staff Ashok Kumar & Sadasiv Reddy of Coimbatore, with Gajapati team & children reached at Paralakhemundi & handed over those children to district administration. Those children are under custodians of child welfare committee, Gajapati. For their welfare & studies district administration will look after them,says Arun Kumar Tripathy, DCPO, Gajapati.
