Urban Public Relations Program begins at Khariar Road NAC

NUAPADA/KHARIAR ROAD :-   The Notified Area Council (NAC), Khariar Road has launched an urban public relations and citizen participation program at Banka Ward No.-01, Khariar Road in Nuapada District on Tuesday.The event was organized with the aim of ensuring active participation of citizens in the urban development process and increasing awareness about government schemes.

NAC Chairperson Dr. Sonia Jain, Vice President Nishant Daga, Executive Officer Kamlasan Rath, MP Representative Goldy Agrawal, Ranjan Joshi from PHD, employees from various departments and local residents were present on the occasion. Direct discussions were held with the public to collect their problems, complaints, opinions, and development-related suggestions.
The program will create awareness about various welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments, urban development programmes, cleanliness and sanitation, environmental protection, civic services and major flagship schemes of the Government.
Similarly, discussions were held on citizen grievance redressal, public awareness campaigns, community-based activities, and increasing public participation in urban development.
It is to be noted that such urban public relations and citizen participation programs will be organized periodically from June 9 to June 21, 2026 in various wards of the Khariar Road NAC area.
