Two drunks man held for violent attack on homeguard personnel in khordha hospital

Khordha :- Involving the abuse and assault of a Home Guard on duty at district headquarter hospital, khordha by two intoxicated persons. Both accused persons were promptly arrested and forwarded to the Court. The strictest possible action will be taken against them in accordance with the law.On 01.06.2026, two heavily intoxicated persons were attended to by Baghamari P.S. staff after a 112 call and shifted to DHH, Khordha, for treatment. At DHH, Khordha, both persons misbehaved with medical staff and assaulted HG/224 Smrutiranjan Dash. On the written report of HG/224 Smrutiranjan Dash, Khordha Model P.S. Case No. 331/2026 dated 02.06.2026 was registered under Sections 126(2) /115(2)/109/132/221/296/351(3)/3(5) BNS.The accused persons, namely Soumya Tripathy and Durga Charan Mishra, were apprehended by Baghamari Police and handed over to Khordha Model Police Station. Both accused were arrested in the case and forwarded to the Court.
