PURI: International sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has welcomed BRICS delegates with a special 15-minute sand animation presentation at his sand art studio in Puri, highlighting the themes of unity, friendship and global cooperation among member nations.
The presentation depicted the spirit of BRICS through a series of sand animations, while also showcasing the cultural heritage of Puri and India. The artwork celebrated collaboration, peace and mutual understanding among participating countries.
According to the artist, the initiative was conceived as a tribute to the growing partnership among BRICS nations and an opportunity to introduce delegates to Odisha’s rich artistic traditions.
The performance combined storytelling and sand art to convey messages of cultural harmony and international cooperation, offering visitors a glimpse of Puri’s distinctive creative heritage.
The special showcase was presented as a symbolic gesture of goodwill, reflecting the ideals of unity and shared progress that underpin the BRICS grouping.
