Puri: The district administration has distributed blankets to the mothers of Puri 19/11 on the instructions of the state government and on the advice of District Collector Samarth Verma. Additional District Collector Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Additional Collector Revenue Kailash Chandra Nayak, Sub-Collector Bhavtaran Sahu and Deputy Collector Rakesh Kumar Panda were present on the occasion. Later, senior officials distributed shawls to the pilgrims residing at Bagla Dharamshala, Akshaya Patra, Bagedia Dharamshala and Mochisahi Kalyan Mandap. The mothers opined that arrangements have been made to stay in various havishyali centres, perform Vrindavati puja, visit Thakur, consume mahaprasad and listen to bhajan discourses. We have left our families and come for a month. We are seeing Thakur. Officers, employees, volunteers are doing such a beautiful service in the havishyali kendras that we are forgetting the house and family, said the havishyali mothers in their response. Additional District Magistrate Sahu informed that arrangements have been made to provide dry prasad to the Lord for the return of the mothers to their homes with a pleasant feeling with healthy and safe stay. Volunteers were felicitated on the occasion. Additional Municipal Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Behera, District Information and Public Relations Officer Santosh Kumar Sethi, District Sports Officer Chandan Sahu, District Child Protection Officer Manoj Kumar Tripathi, District Welfare Officer Bikash Kumar Mohanty and other officers, staff and volunteers were present on the occasion.
