PM Modi’s Floral Tribute to Birsa Munda: A Reverent Moment in Ranchi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to tribal icon Birsa Munda in Ranchi, celebrating his birth anniversary at Birsa Munda Memorial Park. The PM, accompanied by officials, explored the museum highlighting tribal struggles and the significant contributions of freedom fighters during the celebration of “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas”. The 25-acre memorial park boasts various facilities, including a musical fountain, children’s park, infinity pool, garden, and other entertainment amenities.

Later in the day, Modi is slated to visit Birsa Munda’s birthplace in the Ulihatu village, Khunti district, initiating a Rs 24,000-crore endeavor focused on the development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Moreover, he will launch the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ disburse the 15th installment of Rs 18,000 crore under the PM-KISAN scheme, and inaugurate while laying the foundation for projects totaling Rs 7,200 crore in the state.
