Bhubaneswar :The Physical class room teaching for 2021-22 first year Under Graduate (UG) and freshly admitted first year Post Graduate (PG) students in Universities and Colleges in Odisha will commence from November 1 and 15 respectively.
In a letter Higher Education Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra today directed all state Public Universities and Principals of all government and non-government Degree Colleges under the Higher Education department to start the physical classes in physical mode following appropriate covid 19 prevention protocols.
The covid protocols included mandatory wearing of face mask, frequent hand washing and maintaining social distancing in class rooms, libraries and laboratories.
It banned spitting in the campus and wants the students and staff to be encouraged for self monitoring of health and reporting of illness. There should be an isolation room ready for any emergency.
Hostel facilities would be provided to students who have taken admission in hostels.
