Paradip: After taken various steps to control and streamlines of iron ore laden trucks to prevent traffic hazards at the Paradip Port entrance near Atharbanki gate,it was seen the truckers are not carrying the restrictions implemented by the Paradip Model Police.
Further, to the intention of quick unloading of their cargo in the Port prohibited area,the trucks were overtaken each other and created a traffic nuisance on the main roads of Paradip.
At last, Paradip Model Police forced to implemented to imposition of fines of rupees 5 thousand each truck who misleads traffic rules or overtaking. In this connection, more than three lakh rupees of fine has been collected from over 60 iron laden trucks in between three days,informed by Paradip Model Police IIC Rajani Kant Samal.
