Bhubaneswar : Odisha reported 444 new Covid 19 positive cases including 59 children in the age group of 0 to 18 and five deaths during the last 24 hours.
The State Health and Family Welfare department sources said out of the total 444 new Corona infection cases while 258 were reported from quarntine centres 186 were local contacts.
Khordha district reported the highest number of 170 positive cases followed by Cuttack 73, Mayurbhanja 37 and Jaipur 22 .
The state reported 585 covid positive cases yesterday.
The death toll surged to 8180 with the report of five new casualties . While Sundergarha reported three deaths , two fatalities were reported from Nabarangpur during the last 24 hours.
While the active cases of the state stands at 5702 the total number of positive cases in the state stands at 10,24,764.
A total of 1,97,89,222 samples have been tested so far.
