Paralakhemundi : On 12th July ACF SRMahapatra was burnt & more than 90â„… of his body gutted & referred to Cuttack & died on next day at a private hospital.
District police started investigation & later on first batch team of crime branch joined with district police team on investigations.
But futiled to bring any results, again second crime branch team led by DSP GRMishra started investigation independently.
They interrogated 14 persons including DFO,cook, DFO office staff & others behind his death. Already 44 days passed yet no result on fact findings stemmed.
An activist of Human Rights Subrat Das knocked at NHRC(National Human Rights Commission) on 3rd August. Accordingly NHRC knocked at Forest & Environment department Secretary .
DG Police on action taken reports to produce within 6 weeks.
