Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is going to visit Suando village in Puri, the cradle land of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das on Thursday
According to the CMO sources, Naveen will inaugurate the beautification and development of the birthplace of the Utkalmani which was taken up by the Odisha government. In order to treasure the memory and footprints of the great son of Odisha the ancient home of the Utkalmani along with some
temples, ponds, and village roads have been developed. Apart from it, the ancient home of Das has been developed as a museum to recollect the social mission achieved by the Utkalmani. Reviewing the field-level progress at the shrine, Puri district Collector Samarth Verma said the Suando village will inspire the visitors and especially the youth community regarding the social service of Utkalmani in ancient Odisha.
