Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the Indian men’s hockey team for winning the bronze medal in the Olympics.
Mr Patnaik spoke to the Indian Hockey team over the phone and congratulated them for the spectacular victory.
The Indian men’s hockey team clinched the Olympic Bronze medal after 41 years beating Germany 5-4 in a do or die battle to create a golden chapter in the history of Indian Hockey.
It may be noted that Odisha is the only state promoting a national game in the entire country and the Government is the sponsor of the Indian Hockey team, both men and women for five years from 2018.
