Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated Odisha’s ace shuttler Pramod Bhagat for qualifying to participate in the Tokyo Paralympics be held between August 24 and September 5 next.
May he bring laurels for the country, the Chief Minister said and wished him all the best.
Taking to his Twitter page, Mr Patnaik said, ‘’ Congratulate #Odisha’s World No 1 shutter @Pramodbhagat83 on being invited by@bwfmedia to participate in the #Tokyo Paralympics, to be held in August 2021.’’
He tweeted, ‘’ I am happy to be invited for the @paralympics 2021 in Japan and hope to get the first-ever gold medal in Badminton for India.’’ He said winning gold in the #Paralympcis is his dream and he has been training very hard for it.
