Bhubaneswar: In view of the rise in number of newly detected cases of C O V I D – 1 9 i n t h e Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area, the civic body on Monday issued the following stipulations for strict adherence of all concerned. 1. All the street side vendors like Tiffin s h o p s / T e a S h o p s / G u p c h u p S t a l l / D a h i w a d a stalls/Lassi Stalls/Juice stalls etc shall have to ensure no overcrowding of customers in their stalls. In case it is not possible to enforce by them, they should follow takeaway methods for their customers. Odisha FoodPro 2022 to be held on July 21\ Bhubaneswar: Odisha Food Pro 2022 will attract more investment, new skills and technologies into the Food Processing sector of the State and give better exposure to SHGs, FPOs, Cooperatives and individual units involved in Food Processing activities. U n d e r t h e v isi o n a r y leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has embarked upon a journey from India‘s best-kept secret to becoming India‘s most developed food processing state. To support the Food Processing ecosystem in the state, MSME Department, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and farmers’ Empowerment, is going to organise 2.All Business establishments including shopping malls shall have to ensure no overcrowding in their premises and adherence of COVID appropriate behaviours like maintaining social distancing of 6 Ft. and appropriate use of face mask of their staffs/customers at all times. The Shopping Mall owners should also make provision of thermal screening at entry point and provision of hand washing/hand sanitization for their customers/visitors. 3. The Shopping Mall owners shall have to designate one responsible officer of their establishment as COVID compliant officer who will supervise the activities. 4. Saloon/Spa and Barber shop shall have to adhere to s t r i c t C O V I D – 1 9 appropriate behaviour in their shops. 5. All closed venues like A u d i t o r i u m / C i n e m a Halls/Theatres shall ensure proper mask wearing by all visitors/customers/particip ants at all times. The venue owners shall have to ensure no overcrowding of their premises and adherence of other COVID appropriate behaviours also. 6. Any deviation in this regard will be taken as violation of rovisions of O d i s h a C O V I D Regulations 2020 and Epidemic diseases Act 1897 and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.
