Paralakhemundi : Khariguma village situated under Mohana block & 12 kms from block head quarter. Village consisted of 4 streets eg, Saura street, Kui street, Odia street & minorities area contained with 3000 population & voters are around 500.
Since long communication hampered on to & from,that too drinking water too in dire strait. At Soura street covering 22 families,tube well not meeting all families necessities for inhabitants. On summer hardly they get water on other season polluted water not usable for regular use. Still they are bound to use, as a result they suffered on diarrhea & other water borne diseases. At Odia street another tube well preferred for 25 households. Same condition too marked.
Under Basudha village supposed to get pure drinking water but in vein. So to bring remedial measures villagers like Sajani Mandal, Baisagi Sabar, Sangi Sabar, Sasita Sabar, Mujhi Mandal, Jasoda Sabar, Susanti Sabar, Sukanti Sabar demanded before administration.
Subsequently from Kudikhumpa to Khariguma for 2 kms road is in deteriorated condition for safe communication.
Moreover daily more than 100 persons are passing through that deadly communication.Even 108 ambulance too a questionable to reach on emergency case. Even for Biju Pucca houses or PMAY hardly being assured for those poor & vulnerable communities.
So villagers like ward member Biswamitra Mallick, Dayanidhi Sabar, Subas Mandal, Laxman Mandal, Parsuram Sabar, Sankar Sabar, Suka Sabar, Sukadeb Sabar threatened to administration to boycott coming PRI elections if their demands not negotiable to fulfill.
