Paralakhemundi : Elephants again hounded at Kashinagar block of Gajapati district. They came from Andhra villageses ,Talada & Kasali near Vansadhara river Basin, damaged sugarcane & plantain fields. They are taking rest after drinking at Vansadhara river. Now river size is just a knee height for which anytime they can enter into Odisha border. Now people of both Kashinagar NAC & block are fearful they may enter at their cotteges or their field. At Vansadhara under Odisha belt banana, sugarcane, mango plants may be damaged once they enter Odisha belt. DFO Sangramkeshari Behera said staff instructed to take all cautions.
