Laparoscopy Facility Inaugurated at Utkal Hospital

Rayagada/Tikiri: In its relentless pursuit towards community health and wellbeing of this region, Utkal Alumina International Limited, a subsidiary of HindalcoIndustries Limited of Aditya Birla Group has set up a multi-speciality Utkal Hospital at Tikiri which has been catering to a population of more than 30000 annually. In view of providing advanced medical facilities to the community, Utkal Hospital initiated Laparoscopicfacility which not only wouldensure efficient surgeries but also reduce the cost and duration of their treatments. The facility was formally inaugurated by Mr. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head and President, Utkal Alumina along with Mrs. Heena Beig, President, Ujjwal Utkal Ladies Club on 12th November 2023. Mr. BijayaKumura, Unit HR Head, Dr. Arindam Roychoudhury, HeadUtkal Medical Services& CMO, Ms. Lopamudra Mishra, Head of CSR & CR Utkal Alumina, were among the dignitaries present at the occasion. Mr. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head, Utkal Alumina expressed his heartfelt gratitudeto the medical team of Utkal Alumina for initiating the noble facility that holds significant contribution towards the society. He also mentioned that through this initiative we have added another feather to the Utkal Alumina Hospital to provide its state of art medical services to the community in this tribal hinterland
