Dist. Level Migrant Labourers Awareness Campaign

Paralakhemundi: Flag signalled by ADM(Revenue) Birendra Kumar Das outreach labourers sensitization through mobile vehicle campaign launched.In all 7 blocks & all panchayats of Gajapati district this campaign will be moved. Those migrant labourers who are exploited,they can contractor’s under those contractors they have been exploited,about those benefits on their labour works to be acknowledged. This is the motto of the campaign. Contractors who afford those labourers must & should give ID proof. Under 6-14 years children those to be enrolled on studies for those outreach migrants families at hostels arranged by the district administration. Those labourers are requested to inform about their works & duration of their works to local Sarpanchs.They must ensure either male or female equal wages for same works. If any exploitation that immediately to be informed before those outreach state labour department or own district labour departments. By any accidents either injuries or deaths they definitely get compensations by the contractors. For breast feeding & other feedings of new born babies or small children,those females must be given twice relaxed time.
