Paralakhemundi : During Anupam Saha time as Collector before his transfer as per letter number 2565,dated 28.06.2021,cheque endorsed to 3 Engineers divided the development work of 39 panchayats of Mohana block.As per his order Addl.
Executive Engineer Kodand Panigrahi given 15, Asst.Engineer Jagabandhu Acharya with 12 & Manoj Kumar Das with 12 panchayats respectively.
As per government rules only Addl. Executive Engineer to execute cheque & in absence of Addl. Executive Engineer Asst. Engineer to handle on cheque management. But surprisingly how 3 staff had been endorsed for sanctioned of cheques which is illegal.Rather those works yet to be done & development has been seized.
So also out of 7 blocks in Gosani, Kashinagar, RUdayagiri & Mohana blocks Addl Executive Engineers posted.Except Mohana in other 3 blocks Addl.
Executive Engineers are endorsed on cheque management.That too at Gumma, Rayagada & Nuagada blocks where Addl. Executive Engineers are absent, managed by Asst. Engineers.
So need of interference by new Collector Lingaraj Panda demanded to restore development planks what public of Mohana demanding.
