Chief Minister attends his elder brother’s last rites

Keonjhar : The sudden demise of the elder causin brother of the Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has spread grief all over the area in Keonjhar district.
        He is identified as Dinabandhu Majhi (54) and working as a employee in a local plant since last many years. He left behind his widow wife and two minor daughters.
        Chief Minister Mohan Majhi was deeply saddened to hear the news of his demise and reached Raikala village in the afternoon to attend the last rites. Upon reaching the village, he attended his funeral. This has cast a shadow of mourning in Raikala and the surrounding areas. A large crowd of party and local dignitaries and workers attended his funeral. Accordring to the sources Dinabandhu, was staying at the government quarter in Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar.
     “Suddenly he felt pain in his chest at around 1 am last night. Then he was taken to the hospital for treatment. There the doctor declared him dead. His condition was good during the day, his aide Jagannath Mudi said, expressing deep sorrow.
       Sources said at around 1 am, he was taken to the Capital Hospital in an ambulance due to chest pain. There the doctor declared him dead. After this, Dinabandhu’s mortal remains were brought to his Raikala village his native place under Sadar Block.  Friends and villagers gathered to pay their last respects to him. Later body was cremated in the village crematory ground in the afternoon.
