Hamirpur : Aug 11(UNI) The BJP is a party of the masses and any individual, who is deserving, can become its chief or head the country as the Prime Minister, senior party leader and former HP chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has said.
He said the party has a different ideology than the Congress which believes in dynastic politics where only one family wants to rule the party and the nation harming the cause of the common people.
While addressing training programmes for the rural workers at Bherra village last night, the BJP leader said that party workers were the real backbones of the organisation and are indispensable. He said that they have been doing their best right from the house to house level to the polling station level to make the party strong and to take it to the heights.
He told them not to sit idle and work to strengthen the organization as the next Assembly elections in the state were due in 2022 and the party was all set to achieve the mission repeat 2022 programme.
Dhumal said that in these elections even a single vote mattered and for that all workers should work unitedly and bring all eligible voters to the polling stations to cast their votes for the party nominees.
He said that the two-tier BJP governments at the Centre and the BJP government of the state were working together to help the suffering mankind and for that a number of schemes and programmes had been launched for their welfare.
Whether it was about Kisan Samman Nidhi, the Ujjwala scheme or the opening of Jan Dhan accounts, all these were beneficial for the common people and had helped the poor a lot since the BJP came to power at the Centre.
He said that the village level training camps were being organized all over the state with the main objective to prepare the workers for the upcoming assembly elections and to take the schemes of the government to the people.
The BJP leader said that it was the duty of all to tell the people what the double engine governments of the BJP had done for them.
