BJD to Celebrate Foundation Day in Pomp

Bhubaneswar: BJD will celebrate its 26th foundation day in grand style on 26th. Along with this, it has decided
to take up various organizational programs throughout the year to stay connected with the people during the election year. The decision was taken by the senior leaders of the party in a meeting held yesterday evening at the residence of Naveen Niwas and this morning at the residence of senior vice president Debiprasad Mishra. However, the party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will take the final decision. According to the information, the party’s 26th foundation day will be celebrated at the state level on the next 26th. Party workers of blocks and municipalities will be called. The party has started preparations for the gathering of about one lakh workers. Along with this, a strategy has been prepared to increase the enthusiasm of the party workers and connect with the common
people by celebrating its 26th foundation day in a grand manner at the block level every year. BJD has started efforts to unite the leaders of all sections of the party to strengthen its organization. After an initial meeting in this
regard yesterday evening at Naveen Niswas, a discussion was held on various proposals in the presence of party general secretary Arun Sahu, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, organization secretary Pranab Prakash Das, women’s wing president Snehangini Chhuria and others at the residence of senior leader Debiprasad Mishra. Naveen Patnaik has been duly informed in this regard. However, it is said that a meeting will be held again on the 18th and the final
program will be decided. Similarly, the party has decided to take steps to make its women, youth and student
organizations more active. It is said that the program will be taken in this direction from the first week of next January. It is said that the ruling BJD will continue its politics in the coming days by bringing the various welfare schemes of the BJD government to the people, speeding up the blood donation program through jiban bindu, rallying in Delhi to demand 33 percent reservation for women, more active women SHGs in favor of the party.
