BJD Candidate Files Nomination for Padampur By-poll

Bargarh: BJD candidate Barsha Singh Bariha has filed her nomination for the ensuing by-election to the Padampur Assembly seat in Bargarh district. Bariha filed nomination papers at the deputy
collector’s office in the presence of her party leaders and supporters. BJP candidate Pradip Purohit has also filed the nomination for the byelection. Today is the last day of filing of nomination. T h e s c r u t i n y o f nominations will be held on November 18 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 21. The polling will be held between 7 am to 4 pm on December 5 and the counting of votes and declaration of results will b e c o n d u c t e d o n December 10.
