Paralakhemundi : On the eve of launching of Smart Health Card(SHC), Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded people of Gajapati who still have regards to Biju Patnaik. This small district coveted with emerald history brought independent Odisha with the deemed contributions of Late Parala Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati. Besides that contributions of Late Padmashri Dr. Satyanarayan Rajguru & poet Late Gopal Krushna Patnaik hailed tranquility of reinstating history & Odia literature of Paralakhemundi.
He inaugurated virtually various projects costed 820 crores like education, health, communications & mega pipeline including upgradation of Mahendragiri.He added with thumping magnanimity for poorest poor sections to support them on all referral cases where 200 big hospitals are key resources for their free treatment. Hailed for women empowerment, SHC will be benefitted of Rs 10 lakhs per year for cost of their treatment where for male 5 lakhs. Those poverty stricken like small& marginal farmers, daily eage earners can be enrolled to eclipse their jinx on mortgage or sale their land or houses & deprive education of their childrenfor treatment henceforth.They have ample scope to get free treatment on those hospitals with SHC. About 1,44,589 persons will be laveraged such health benefits of the district.
Earlier he inaugurated at Malkangiri on 20th September & at Balangir at Sundargad districts too.
Among others Health Minister Nabakishore Das, Energy & Industries Minister Capt. Dibyasankar Mishra, SC & ST Minister Jagannath Saraka, MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, MLA Paralakhemundi KNarayanrao, MLA Mohana Dasarathi Gamango,5T Commissioner VKartik Pandiyan, DIG Southern Range Satyabrata Bhoi, Collector Lingaraj Panda were present.
