Bhubaneswar : Former Tamilnadu DGP Jalal Kumar Tripathy was today appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner of Odisha.
Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal made the appointment on the recommendations of the Committee constituted for the purpose.
The post was lying vacant since August 15 last after the retirement of Mr Sunil Kumar Mishra.
