New Delhi : West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah again at the latter’s residence and apprised him about the affairs of the state.
According to sources, Mr Dhankhar has discussed about the deteriorating ‘law and order’ situation due to alleged attack on the BJP political workers allegedly by the Trinamool Congress cadre in the State with Mr Shah.
Amid the verbal spat with the Mamata Banarjee led Government in West Bengal, this was his second meeting of Union Home Minister in a span of three days.
Mr Dhankhar called on the Home Minister on June 17 and discussed affairs of state.
This is his first visit to the national capital after the State Assembly poll result and he arrived here on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, he was called on President Ram Nath Kovind and also Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi.
Mr Dhankhar has been raising concerns about the incidents of political violence in West Bengal.
