Tejashwi Yadav slams BJP for getting vacated Paswan’s bungalow

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over vacating the bungalow of former union minister Ram Vilas Paswan. Yadav, who is the leader of Opposition in Bihar, shared a video of belonging of the late minister thrown out of his bungalow, where he lived for 30 years, which was vacated recently. “Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan ji, a benefactor and advocate of the underprivileged. The Central Government team that went to vacate his Delhi residence threw out the statue of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar and the picture of Padma Bhushan Paswan ji on the road in a derogatory manner,” Yadav said in a tweet. He also said the BJP destroys all parties it joins hands with. “BJP set fire to their Hanuman’s house. BJP snatched not only their bungalow of Delhi, but also the original bungalow which used to be the election symbol of LJP. BJP will destroy whoever joins hands with them, whether it is Akali Dal, Sahni (VIP) or anyone else,” Yadav said. Paswan’s bunglow was currently occupied by his son Chirag. The Directorate of Estates (DoE) under the housing and urban development ministry had issued a notice for vacating the bungalow. Eviction notices were also issued to former ministers Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Ramesh Pokhriyal.
