Jabalpur : Union Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah, who is on a day’s visit here, offered floral tributes to the statues of Gondwana ruler Shankar Shah and prince Raghunath Shah on their martyrdom anniversary.
Amid heavy security; Mr Shah was flanked by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra and other leaders.
Earlier, the central Minister arrived by a special plane at Dumna Airport where he was received by Mr Chouhan, Bharatiya Janata Party state President VD Sharma, other public representatives and officials.
Mr Shah is scheduled to participate in various programmes.
