Self-defense training camp was Organized of Ambadala Samanta College

Muniguda,(DMC): With the aim of eliminating the increasing harassment of women in the current situation, an eight-day selfdefense training camp was organized for first-year students of Ambadala Samanta College in Rayagada district, in accordance with the directives of the state government’s Sports and Youth Affairs Department. The camp was inaugurated by the college principal, Sri Kaviraj Pradhan, with the lighting of the lamp. Political Science Professor Manoj Kumar Dash briefed the students about the aims and objectives of the self-defense camp. Similarly, Economics Professor Tapan Kumar Sahu managed the stage and delivered a speech on the need for self-defense skills. Odia Department Professor Golak Bihari Ghadei and Professor Kaviraj Pradhan also delivered speeches to enlighten the students. It is learned that 94 students will learn these skills along with trainer teacher Gitanjali Behera during the eight-day-long training program. The program officer of the training, Sri Umesh Samant, presented the
vote of thanks. English teacher Ramani Ranjan Jena and Professor Sujit Kumar Sethi were also prominently present and provided their cooperation
