Palakkad : Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials here on Thursday seized 4.8 kilogram of gold ornaments and biscuits worth around Rs 2 crore from a train and arrested two youths from Maharashtra in this connection.
The gold was seized from Uttam Gorain and Manaf Jana of Mumbai during a search operation in Sabari Express train.
The duo boarded the train from Hyderabad and were going to Thrissur without proper documents of the gold, RPF sources said.
