Biju Janata Dal was formed on December 26, 1997 with the blessings of Lord Shree Jagannath. That is why party supremo Naveen Patnaik has chosen Shrikshetra to celebrate Silver Jubilee. The party has been serving the people of the state for 25 years. That’s why people are blessing Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik not once, but 5 times in a row. BJD came to power in 2000 under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after the 1999 Super Cyclone. From that day, the team never looked back. faith and trust of the people of the state. 40 to 50 thousand people including all MPs, MLAs, leaders and workers of the party will meet on this foundation day which is being held in Puri Talbania. BJD leaders and workers will deliver the message of BJD to the people in all constituencies for 15 days. Along with this, the 25th anniversary of the party will be celebrated in all the districts and blocks of the state throughout the year. Strict security arrangements have been made to monitor the Chief Minister’s visit. A total of 25 platoons of police force, more than 100 security officers have been deployed. As the tourist season is going on, Puri is flow with tourists. Keeping this in mind, attention has been paid to traffic mobilization.
