directed by T J Gnanavel. Lastweek, Rajinikanth announced thathe and Amitabh Bachchan are
reuniting after 33 years. Now,production house LycaProductions has shared a behindthe-
scenes picture of the twosuperstars of Indian cinema. Inthe pic, Amitabh Bachchan is showing something toRajinikanth on his phone. Themakers have also announced that
the shooting for the Mumbaischedule is done. The textattached to the post read, “When

Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170″ directedby T J Gnanavel. My heart isthumping with joy.” Big B and
Rajinikanth were last seen inHum, which was released in1991. They have also worked
together in Andhaa Kaanoonand Geraftaar.Amitabh Bachchan alsodropped a behind-the-scenes
photo of his character from thesets of Thalaivar 170. Alongwith the pic, he said, “Trying
to magnify the moment…Firstday of work after 33 years withTHE THALAIVAR ..
RAJINIKANTH sirrrrr.” Awhile back, in an interview withnews agency PTI, Rajinikanth
opened up about the film. Hesaid, “I’m doing my 170th filmwith director Gnanavel and Lyca
which will be a huge entertainerat the same time with a socialmessage. I am going to shoot for
my 170th movie… The title forthe movie is not decided yet.”Rajinikanth was last seen in
Jailer. The actor played therole of a retired police officerin the film. Meanwhile,Amitabh Bachchan’s last filmwas Ganapath.
