New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI): President Ram Nath Kovind’s health is improving continuously and doctors are constantly monitoring his condition, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said on Saturday.
President Kovind had undergone a successful bypass surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Tuesday morning.
“President Kovind was shifted from the ICU to a special room in the AIIMS today….Doctors are constantly monitoring his condition and have advised him to take rest,” the Presidential Secretariat informed.
The 75-year-old President was admitted at the Army Research & Referral Hospital on March 26 after he felt chest discomfort. After the President was stable, he was referred to AIIMS for further investigation where he was operated for cardiac bypass surgery.
