Panaji::President Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stone for a new Raj Bhavan at Dona Paula here on Wednesday.
First Lady Savita Kovind, Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai, his spouse Reetha S Pillai, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Union Minister Shripad Naik, Goa Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, among others, were present on the occasion.
The President is on a two day visit to the coastal state.
